One of the biggest missions in Borderlands 3 is to defeat GenIVIV to get Vault Key fragment and carry back to Sanctuary. She uses all sorts of tricks to make your way towards her very difficult, but fighting with GenIVIV will be a challenge of its own because she hides behind a wall like a shield created by balls and has an army of her loyal GenION bots coming to attack you. Get ready and refill ammo for that task, she won't have any mercy once you get there.
Once you enter, head to the left and stay hidden there. GenIVIV weapons are very powerful and spread all around, so duck and and stay low until you spot her across the room, and then use skills and shoot. She won't be exposed long and runs back to hide behind her shield, while her troops come at you, one by one or a few at once. Keep shooting at them, and pick grenades. Doesn't matter if they damage your shield, don't move from there and wait to see her again. Throw grenades at her, use all 3, you will get more later, and then use skills and shoot as long you can see her. She will run back to the shield area, and you don't expose, just wait until the next cycle, until finally GenIVIV is down. Then grab Vault Key Fragment and fast travel to Sanctuary.
